On Christmas night in 2012, Lil Flip, whose real name is Wesley Eric Weston, was pulled over in Mansfield, Louisiana for speeding and upon searching the car the police supposedly found an AR-15 rifle and some marijuana.
Lil Flip has denied all those allegations and plead not guilty to the charges bought against him. Flip was shot awhile ago and claims to carry the weapon as protection and he also has a license to carry a concealed weapon in 22 states including Louisiana.
Flip said that the police found a stash of cigarettes and blacks and that they all had tobacco in them and not weed. Flip also says he knows the consequences for crimes in Louisiana and would not put himself in position to get in any trouble.
Hopefully Flip can get through this situation and continue to work on his music. His pre-trial date is set for April. Good luck Flip. #SWBY
