What it do mayne? I am sitting here reminiscing about the good ol Grambling days when The Yard, Renaissance/Gotham City, End Zone, The Norton Building, Bat Cave, Que Stick, Banana Bob's, Vibe, Springfest, and Homecoming all had the city on tilt. Now don't get it twisted this era of good times span for many years prior to and afterwards. But the years 1999-2006 was like a Golden Era because after 2006, many things begin to change in the G. Springfest was dying down because of haters, clubs were starting to close or move on, etc... So I am just going to embrace those memories of the many good times A LOT of us had through the music that was being played during this particular time frame. I started my new mix series, "OLD GRAM JAMS" just to enjoy some great music during great times. These jams were timeless and could get the club jumping now if played. This younger generation of Grambling may or may not understand it but it was something about Grambling's party scene before all the changes.
