BIG YUM'S ARTIST SPOTLIGHT: BLAKCARD ATM- GRAMBLING/RUSTON/LAKE CHARLES, LOUISIANA

Anthony Terrell Mitchell aka Blakcard ATM is a Grambling/Ruston native that has been making music since I can remember. But it wasn't until we all thought in 2005 we were rappers (laughs).  Blakcard's music took a different direction when he decided to move to Lake Charles in 2007. He cleaned up his sound and polished his content. This is one of the reasons why he should be on everybody radar or in some one's deck.  With the way rap is headed, it should be an honor when one is trying to master Hip Hop. To this day I still believe there is difference between Rap and Hip Hop. Any artist who can decipher the two is in my personal faves. Blakcard ATM has a rotation of four singles that could make a push for to break the Hip Hop and Pop charts.
