NFL DEFENSIVE BACK CHRIS "HITMAN" HARRIS RETIRES AFTER 8 YEARS

Former University of Louisiana at Monroe and NFL Defensive Back Chris Harris has decided to retire from professional football after 8 years.  He tweeted that "After 8 awesome yrs in the NFL I'm deciding  to retire."  Harris had a stellar  NFL career with four teams.  He finished with career stats 16 interceptions, 32 pass deflections, 13 forced fumbles and 439 tackles.  His best seasons statistically were in 2007 with the Carolina Panthers and in 2010 with the Chicago Bears.  Well Chris I tipped my hat off to you for a great career of football on the college and professional level.  I pray all goes good in your future endeavors.  #SWBY
